The secure channel encryption feature helps protect all data that is communicated from one device to another. This includes both configuration and video data and is made possible by using Transport Layer Security (TLS) – meaning that an unwanted user cannot intercept the stream or data from the camera to the NVR.

WHAT DOES NDAA SECTION 889 MEAN?

The John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act FY 2019 (NDAA), Section 889, prohibits the US Government from procuring video and telecommunication equipment from certain companies and their subsidiaries. The Honeywell 30 Series IP cameras contains no content or material from any prohibited companies or their subsidiaries.

END USERS CAN USE HONEYWELL 30 SERIES CAMERAS AS PART OF VIDEO SYSTEMS WHICH COMPLY WITH NDAA SECTION 889.
